Meet Your Coach and Mentor: Eric Salinas
I'm a seasoned fitness enthusiast and entrepreneur with over two decades immersed in the world of fitness and five years navigating the nuances of the business industry. My journey began in the vibrant fields of youth sports, where I dabbled in Soccer, Basketball, and Baseball.
But it was in my teenage years that I discovered my true calling. At 14, I started lifting weights, a practice that not only sculpted my physique but also honed my discipline. This dedication paid off in high school, where I excelled in Wrestling and Football. I clinched the starting position on my Varsity Wrestling team in the 215-pound weight division and started on the Varsity Football team as a Sophomore.
A Turn to Boxing and Beyond
My sporting endeavors took an exciting turn in junior year with boxing. Training under some of the world's finest fighters and trainers, I won the 2010 Northern California Golden Gloves Tournament in the Heavyweight Division. However, my journey didn't stop there.
From the Ring to the Marines
In 2011, I embarked on a new adventure - joining the Marine Corps as an 0311 Infantryman. My four years of active duty were more than service; they were a masterclass in leadership, resilience, and teamwork. Leading Marines is an honor I hold close to my heart, a role that profoundly shaped my approach to life and business.
A Passion for Helping Others
Post-military service, one thing became crystal clear: my passion lies in helping others live better, more successful lives. But I quickly realized that helping isn't always straightforward. It's a path fraught with challenges, as true help is only effective when it's wanted and the individual is ready for it.
